Drogasil began its story in March 1935 after the merger of São Paulo pharmacies Drogaria Bráulio and Drogaria Brasil. Two years later, it adopted the concept of network by joining other drugstores. In 2011, there was a merger with another major company in the sector, Droga Raia, and thus the birth of RD – Gente, Saúde e Bem-estar (People, Health and Well-Being). Today the group has eight distribution centers and more than 2100 stores spread in 23 states throughout Brazil, thus being the largest pharmacy network in Brazil.
